Stuck in traffic coming back because they were taking someone out of an overturned car on a spinal board.

Busy at the badger sett

Got a whole load of pictures this week at the badger set.  Ignore the date on the pictures - I forgot to reset it when I changed the batteries in the camera.  There is a lot of fox activity - I guess they are sharing the set.  Also we go a picture of the white fallow.  Apologies for the wonky angle of the pictures.

Hazel Catkins

The winter has only just really kicked into gear, but we have several hazels in catkins

Only bought the chain saw yesterday, today we were down the wood felling a tree!  I was a bit apprehensive about swinging 18 inches of blade, considering all the training I have add was from the salesman, youtube and watching other amateurs, but managed to get the tree down exactly where and I wanted it and soon it was processed into fire wood (C did the splitting, Bex the fetching and carrying and Jen took photos.

Tiney produced 2 excellent points, first on a cock pheasant and then on a hen.  Carolyn gave them a good scare but neither of them ended up in the bag.
